Permanent Associate Membership is generally reserved for long time members of the fancy no longer actively participating in the sport, members who have relocated but wish to stay Club members, etc. Must be recommended by a Club member prior to application, and reviewed by the Board of Directors prior to presentation to the Club.

Household Membership includes two adult members who reside in the same household. Each applicant must attend 2 meetings prior to being elected as Associate members. When both members have attained regular membership their membership will become Household Membership.

PLEASE NOTE: The decision to recommend a home visit for any member or applicant may be made at the discretion of the Board. While a home visit is not a requirement of the new membership application, the Board reserves the right to schedule a home visit in the event the Board receives a formal complaint or concern from a club member relevant to a specific member/applicant, or in the event a member/applicant is formally cited or charged by a governing agency or law enforcement agency, involving animal abuse or neglect, or any other such related illegal offense. As stated in the By Laws, any formal charge by AKC resulting in any type of suspension or expulsion may result in the same equivalent decision by the Club. Further action may or may not be taken as a result of said home visit.

Communications by the club directed to club members as a whole, or to me individually, may be made via hand delivery, USPS mail or electronically through the club’s newsletter or via email or other digital methods.
